The Organization of North American Shia Ithnasheri Muslim Communities (NASIMCO) in its continued commitment to the advancement, development and empowerment of women in all spheres of life requests information from its member jamaats to aid in the formulation of relevant programs. Member jamaats are requested to take a moment to provide us with contact information of your administrative team members as well as detailed data on any programs/activities (specifically geared for women) that are currently offered by your jamaat.

The information you provide will also be a vital resource for the Women’s Needs Assessment Initiative, a collaborative effort between the World Federation, the Council of European Jamaats and NASIMCO.  Sr Shyrose Jaffer Dhalla is the NASIMCO Councilor heading this scheme, the purpose of which is to carry out a worldwide evaluation on the various needs of women in communities and centres across the world.  For more information on this project, please contact the NASIMCO secretariat.
