Leadership Development Program - Understanding Self for Success, Los Angeles

The Los Angeles Jamaat (SIIJLA) in Partnership with NASIMCO held a one day Self Development Workshop on "Understanding Self for Success" on April 24, 2010 at the Huseini Centre in Los Angeles, California.

This workshop is part of the Leadership Development Program initiated by WF/NASIMCO with an objective to “Unlock the potential of individuals to serve the community and humanity”.


Eleven participants from the Los Angeles area attended the workshop. The participants went through a full day of activity involving reflective exercises, interactive discussions, self assessments and closing circle.

• The workshop covered a series of subjects including:
  
• Brief introduction to Political Intelligence (PI).
• Myers Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI questionnaire) and self assessments
• Group exercises to further emphasize learning
• Emotional Intelligence (EI)

The participants reflected on their learning during closing circle. The workshop was facilitated by Sister Siddika Jessa of Vancouver, BC, Canada.
